Are you thinking of heading away for a short vacation? No matter whether you are looking to take a short weekend break with your family or spend a few days with your best friend, camping is an amazing experience. Eddy Andrews is an environmental and emergency management training specialist, and he has taken a closer look at some of his favourite spaces to go camping:

  1. Coffs Harbour

This New South Wales location offers picturesque views over Horseshoe Bay and Eddy Andrews believes it is one of the best places to go camping in the whole of Australia. Surrounded by stunning beaches, lush forests, and gorgeous ocean views, this is a location that will make any holiday one to remember.

  • Millaa Millaa

Even if the name might not be familiar, chances are you have seen the world-famous Millaa Millaa waterfall at some time. Based in Queensland, this stunning area of natural beauty has become synonymous with camping trips and Eddy Andrews believes it is a destination that everyone should visit at least once.

  • Margaret River

If you are in Western Australia, then Eddy Andrews believes that Margaret River is the best location to visit. With stunning beaches, incredible wineries, and unrivalled surfing it is an amazing location located just an hour outside of Perth, making it highly attractive for residents and visitors alike.

  • Kalbarri

Another must-visit location is Kalbarri National Park. This breath-taking, all-natural location offers incredible scenic hikes, river gorges and iconic, white-striped rock formations that are guaranteed to make a lifetime of memories for families and individuals alike.

  • Blue Mountains

Based just two hours outside of Sydney, Eddy Andrews says Blue Mountains is another incredible camping location for families, couples, and friends. The popular Ingar Campground is on a first-come-first-serve basis, and is open throughout the year. However, if you are visiting in the winter months then be sure to wrap up warm as it can get very chilly.
